The consensus by long time residents of Santa Fe is "YEAH" or that they love the smell of the rain. With over 300 days of sunshine and the dry heat, rightly so a day of rain here and there I guess is refreshing for the human and plant life!
It's a soothing sound, inspires me to sit for a bit, contemplate the "nature" of life... ugh wait that's a pretty big, broad subject matter.
I'll just think about all of you...
Those who have helped me, been kind or even mean, loved or hated me, have
encouraged or discouraged me, gave me a hand or a smile, said hello or thank you, there hasn't been anyone ever that I haven't learned something from, something about myself, about life. Whether we spent a lot of time together or it was a fleeting moment in time. It was no accident.
And it goes on...I'm just so much more aware now and appreciate every person I meet and how they affect my life. I hope that I too am able to affect others, in a positive way, but if not that either way they discover something.

Speaking of weather...Fall Equinox is this Saturday, September 22nd. On this day, the day time and night time are both roughly about 12 hours each then after that the days start getting shorter.
I have read that it is a time for celebrating and being grateful for all that you have reaped/harvested from what you have sown/planted. And what has yet to come as we turn inward.
Then on Monday, September 24th is the FULL MOON. Over the past several years I have noticed that I am way more sensitive right about this time and always do something I haven't done before. HMMMM wondering if anyone else has noticed a change in them?
The rain has stopped.
No more contemplating for now.
Guess I'll say good night!
Happy tomorrow to you!
